Cua Dai Hotel exists due to Ms.Trinh Diem Vy's interest in the tourist industry and wanting to try something different besides creating and running restaurants. After many years experience with tourism in Hoi An she felt a different challenge would be interesting. At the time she was thinking about the idea this building became available.

It is an attractive colonial looking hotel, even though it was only built in 1998. Delightful grounds with lovely plants and a fish pond surround it. A short walk away is the center of town. Cua Dai beach with its golden sand isn't far away as well. When you head out from the hotel one direction leads to the long, beautiful beach and the other leads into town along a shop-lined street.

It is being upgraded to a two star boutique hotel over 2007. Already the grounds have been extended, 4 large rooms and a good-sized pool have been added. Internet is now available for guests.
